I know the release is qtr. 1 of 2006, but is more like March or will it be earlier? I've heard many different things.

The general noise I heard was the first half of 2006, so I'm expecting May or maybe later. Thankfully Sorrows Furnace was only a few days later than schedualed so Anet seem pretty good with their release dates
