Canada, almost got to see a polar bear... :P

So if I live in Canada means I can't play with my russian guild?

I think what they mean is that a majority of your guild has to be from one area. So if most of your guild is Russian you should be okay.

Yea, I kinda haven't noticed the "At least 6 of the 10 guild members" part.

Sorry for that.

Exactly right. Now, if there is a guild with members from some of the "wild card" regions, such as Australia, New Zealand, and The Philippines, they should be factored into the mix. In that case, figure out the predominant region that the players call home and take it from there. 4 Americans, 2 Europeans, and 4 from Australia? 4 Am + 4 Aus = 8 = majority, so they can choose America. 2 Eur + 4 Aus = 6 = majority, so they can also choose Europe. In this particular case, the guild with 8 players and 2 alternates from several regions would be able to choose to represent either territory.

Hmm funny... If I as someone who lived in USA for 8 years and went back to Taiwan where I lived for 9 years with a Taiwan passport... then I will be considered as Taiwanese? lol

Anyway, the moment I see the competetion ground is in Taiwan I already lost hope (T-T)

oh well, good luck to the teams competeting, and may the best win. Hopfully we won't have a really good team that is so unlucky to meet a complete counter team by luck XD that would be sad and funny. (if you got a build that has a complete counter, well... start praying)

Oh yea, is this event going to be recorded? I would really like to see it... ARG!! I WANT A SPECTATOR MODE!! *pull hairs out*

Wow, lots of deleted posts there? I wasn't being tongue in cheek by eighthing it Spectator mode is something I've wanted since the game was released. Every competitively focused game out right now has it but GW :| Also will demo recording be an option in the future (or included with spectator mode?).

I believe that Observer Mode will be in place by the Regional Playoffs in January. I am sure that it will be available for the Guild Wars World Championship in mid-February.

We're looking forward to showing the games of "the best of the best" to all Guild Wars fans.
