Avoiding useless battles - how?

In Pre-Searing low level monsters started to ignore me when I grew in levels. On Post-searing even the weakest creatures keep attacking me. This does not make any sense. It gives zero xp's and its only slowing down missions and making the game very repetitive. Is there a way to avoid this? (exept from keeping running?)

yeah i have the same problem especially the fact that some lvl 3's can just give me a quick flick to my nuts and im dead even when im running but i dont think there is away around it i just decided to start collecting items and try look forward to that instead of thinking theres no gain from it

No matter the level in pre searing, only the basic level monsters would ignore you, with an exception of the Skales. River Skale tads and River Skales would both ignore you, only the broodcallers would attack. Same with Gralws. The Shamans and longspears attacked, but the regular grawls didn't. Bandits, etc. Just take them out, get the loot, and move on.
