I use this build in both pve and pvp, it's designed to do alot of damage against just one target quickly.
I use lightning weapons and high strength for armor penetration effects.
Alternatively, I use a Zealous sword for energy regeneration.
9 Strength.
12 Swordsmanship.
12 Beast Mastery.
Ferocious strike. +25 damage, +9 energy gain, adrenaline gain.
Bestial Pounce. +17 damage, knockdown, spell interrupt.
Warrior's Cunning. No evading or blocking my attacks (pets can be)
Savage Slash. Interrupt, +32 damage if it's a spell.
Final Thrust. +32 damage, doubled > 50% enemy life.
Edge of Extinction. 43 damage against all enemies when one dies.
Comfort Animal. Heal pet for 87.
Charm Animal. Fluffy!
I don't believe in 110% damage, but I do like doing 100% of my possible damage.
All of my damage isn't focused on just my melee attacks, the pet does almost as much as I do. Since I can trigger pet attacks at the same time as my own, I can keep enemies off balance by alternating what I'm doing with what the pet is doing.
I enjoy this build in pve as it allows me to really pound monks into the ground, especially the annoying level 28 monks in ToA and the named ones in SF.
In PVP, you have to depend on your monks for blind/weakness removal; often I'll bring a smite/dom mo/mes friend along to smite and shatter--this merely increases my damage output, and as I'm usually the first one in I'll usually get MoP and/or SoJ tossed onto me to break up the first wave of attacks.
Of course given the current farming environment, it's hard to get into a 5 man with this build but in ToA or in a 6 man I manage quite well in pve.
I always surprise nukers with how fast I kill my targets, and how little they can do to stop me.

Wrong spot ffs you gotta post this in the warrior section.
Aarroe of Gilgamesh
Looks like a nice build I'll have to try out something similar^^
Holy Bladefire
great build I have been using a modified version since I saw this post in it and its very fun to use. Quick question though, you said you use Lighting hilt to boost armor penetration. I thought all lightning hilt did was give you elemental lighnting damage not necessarly any armor penetration, can u verify?
jesh
Most warrior mobs have extra armor VS physical damage - not lightning. I think that's all he meant, the extra 10-20 armor VS physical is negated with that hilt. BTW OP, if you're having problems with blind, there's always Antidote Signet.

She.
Yes, physical damage is negated by the lightning hilt--and there aren't any plus or minus resist vs lightning except the one mantra....unlike say fire and cold, which have alot of resist modifiers possible. Better to just bypass them completely and know you are hitting for all possible damage.

Rancour
Of course, some enemies have inate lightning resistance... Like some have fire resistance.
But I like the build, gives me a chance to use my pet. Again, I'm probably gonna alter the build a little, so I'm stronger with my sword than with my pet. But I like it.
