I would like a seasoned gamer to please give me a Price Estimate on the above staff (reposted for convenience) along with two other items. I'll give my ballpark figures and you tell me whether or not I'm off.
I don't want to overcharge, but at the same time I would like to feel like I was fairly compensated for my troubles:
Gold Hale Fire Staff of Fortitude
------------------------------
Item Stats:
- Energy +10
- Fire Dmg: 11-22 (req. 11 Fire Magic)
- Improves Skill recharge using Air Magic Skills (Chance: 19%)
- Health +29
- Health +21
-------------------------------
Hale mod: 20k
Fortitude mod estimate@: 3k
Total (including built in recharge): 15K
Reason: Chances of not salvaging Hale mod; yet good value for both health mods if staff is used. Won't sell this unless I get the best deal, as I still use it for a quick health boost.
Gold Insightful Air Staff of Enchanting
--------------------------------
Item Stats:
- Energy +10
- Lightning Dmg: 11-22 (req. 12 Air Magic)
- Improves Casting Speed (Chance: 8%)
- Improves skill recharge using Death Magic Skills (Chance: 16%)
- Energy +3
- Enchantments last 17% longer
----------------------------------
Insghtful mod: 2k
Enchanting mod estimate: 12K
Total: 9k
Reasons: Not much reason to salvage (enchantment isn't perfect), and if so it's risky. Recharge is another profession, which I personally find unattractive. Universal casting speed is nice tho, too bad it's nowhere near perfect. Energy improvement is neglegable, esp with high req (no chance to use it as a secondary N/E).
Gold Earth Wand
-----------------------------------
Item Stats:
- Earth Dmg: 11-22 (req. 10 Earth Magic)
- Improves Casting Speed using Illusion Magic Skills (chance: 17%)
-----------------------------------
Estimated Price: 2k
Reason: I paid 3k for my gold earth wand with +3 energy while enchanted. I will bargain down to 1k tho.
Gold Hand Axe of Defense
------------------------------------
Item Stats:
- Slashing Dmg: 6-26 (req 10 Axe Mastery)
- Damage +17% (while hexed)
- Armor +5
------------------------------------
Defense grip: 4k
Estimated price: 3k
Very good reason to salvage. High sucess rate, due to lack of any other mod. 1k discount to sweeten the deal. No max dmg with high req.
Sundering Sword Hilt
------------------------------------
Item Stats:
- Armor penetration +10% (Chance: 6%)
------------------------------------
Estimated price: 500g
I'd either sell it or give it for free to sweeten one of the above deals.
Please tell me if I am overcharging, or undercharging for an item. I tend to measure prices by how much I would personally pay for them.
Sold a 6-26 (req 10) clean chaos axe for 500g which the player more than happily accepted
Sold a max clean air wand for 500g: User quickly put 1k, then switched it to 500g upon reading my price); couldn't blame him, but it stung lol.
So u see, I have a tendency to undercharge; but that's only because I tend to see weapons on their merits as a gamer, rarity of skin doesn't mean much to me (sold a whole bunch of shadow staves, max dmg and clean for 400g a piece).
So please help me out. I won't sell these items until I get an estimate lol. Especially the gold staves; I think I'm spot on with everything else.
Thanks for your time.
