Maxine Coldstone

Quickshot can be captured from Maxine Coldstone in Perdition Rock, am i not wrong?(And she does not spawn 100% right?) So if Harn Coldstone is there..is it a sure thing that Maxine isnt there?

Im pretty sure that's the deal, if you see Harn Coldstone then Maxine wont be there.

I also noticed that they changed the look of the 'human' bosses, well atleast Harn Coldstone. When I went to capture Obsidian Flesh he looked like a 'Forgotten' (The stone dude with a sword instead of the Bandit looking guys)

Maxine's human, Harn is a Forgotten. And I keep seeing Maxine, no Harn :/

Trust me, it was pretty damn hard getting quickshot from maxine. You just gotta camp in one of the spots he patrols through and you'll see him evenutally. Maxine is a huge pain in the ass >_<

i totally agree...the thing is...i always meet Harn...her friggin twin bro or whateva...man.is Maxine just scared or what...cos if he is..i can end is misery..

lol same here. i've only actually attempted to cap once, but we followed the patrol route back to front... no sign. and its my last primary elite that i need! *sigh* I'm gonna cause her so much pain when i find her...

She takes 15 times as long as Harn to complete the circuit, because she lays a spirit every five yards. Quickshot is well worth it though.

You see...in Perdition Rock...there are 3 ways to get to the Eastern side...the upper path, middle path and lower path....and i think that the route u take matters and affects the spawning of Maxine Coldstone....u see ive tried goin through the middle for like 15 times and Harn always spawns at the end of the middle route...ive tried the upper and lower path...but by eventually comin through the middle path from the front yet again and Harn still spawns at the same place...so maybe.....
If we take the upper or lower path...and go through the middle path from the back....Maxine will spawn....
I dunno....im just making a hypothesis based on what i think is happening...cos wheneva i rush through the middle path..Harn will definitely(100%) be there...
So...anybody knows if the route affects the spawn?

I doubt it. In my experience the spawns are fixed when you enter the map.

All you have to do is find her spirits and then follow them to find her

It isn't Finding her thats the problem - HE is saying Harn always Spawns instead. Harn and Maxine share the same "spot" - if one is there, the other isn't.

BTW, Harn and Maxine ALWAYS spawn in the same area, and do not start to patrol until you interupt their spawn area, then they'll start walking.

I figured that out when I was using 8 or so Darkstone keys up (a chest always spawns somewhere in that general area). I would use Escape/Storm Chaser to get to that spot and search out the chest, and I ALWAYS saw Harn/Maxine starting their patrol route in that spot.

thats what ive been doin...rushin there to find out...and Harn always spawns there...sighz..

Whoa...finally...my luck has changed for the better...i found Maxine after countless runs...and he sure was easy to kill with henchman..lol.....ok mods..i think u can close this thread if u want to lol

It's all luck my friend, and it seems you got dealt a lousy hand. Everytime I've went with a skill-capping group out on perd rock, we've cleared maxine's spawn/harn's spawn <whenever they alternate> and all these "elusive" ones I see that have posts about them. I guess I may just be lucky; but I don't know. Never had anyone complain they were elusive when we slay them in front of them...and they go "finally" and I'm like "You're serious? I sometimes just bypass <Said named>, as they are always usually there.."

Maybe I'm the odd man out, I dunno.

With maxe/harn coldstone you get to see their patrol path. And yes, one at a time, maxine no harm, harm no maxine.

Can be a lil annoying.
