Thought came to my mind, suppose I were to use Signet of Agony which induces bleeding on myself for 25 seconds. Then, I used Plague Touch transferring the remaining duration of the bleeding to a touched foe. However, would having a barbed upgrade on my sword/axe that lengthens the duration increase the effect or not? As is my understanding with these lengthens by X upgrades they take effect at the time of applying them, so would it work in this regard as well?

I always understood "Lengthens Bleeding Duration" mods found on swords to only affect Bleeds inflicted by swords. I'd be surprised if the mod affected things like condition transfer.

I don't know but it's a good question. I'd guess you'll need to whack him at least once with the sword after transfering it to get the longer duration.

It should lengthen it. Stone fist gauntlets for example lengthen knockdowns from non-hammer skills.

Yay for water trident knockdown! ^_^

I did this using a Barbed Axe and Plague Touch [didn't hit with axe, just targetted]

It does work...

yeah actually this was one of the few uses I could see for a barbed axe when I got the mod aways back as there is no axe bleed skill..

makes sense if you think about it, not like enchantments are being funneled out of your axe either but you can increase the duration 20% with mod

[well makes sense w/in context of other mods and game engine anyways ]
