My friend has a Gold, Max (Fire) Dmg, Skeleton Slaying Fiery Dragon Sword with a superb low req. of 8

Anyways - We are wanting to upgrade this and KEEP the Skeleton Slaying (+19%) on it - What would we add to this to compliment him and the weapon?

You can't; the only upgradeable part is the Sword Pommel of Skeletonslaying - the suffix. The Fiery Sword Hilt is a permanent part of the Fiery Dragon Sword, and this problem is unique to the FDS.
