This a good shield?

I found a yellow shield last night with these stats:

+16 armor +40 health ( when hexed )

Since Im a monk I know very little about shields but it seems nice. What is a good asking price?

16 Armor is the highest you'll find on a shield, and +40 health is also very high, and who isn't hexed enough of the time? Anyway, it sort of boils down to if it is tactics or strength, I've yet to find a good strength shield beyond my 9armor 2req shield, though I'm sure someone will pay quite well. However, the market shifts rapidly, day after day prices rise and fall because someone was willing to pay a bit more or a bit less for something, really, I've been seeing Steel for 500g, and then for 250g, back to 400, and people throwing it back down and up again and again. And at the start, Black Dye was decent at 400g, though people are outrageous with paying over a Plat for theirs, just try to sell it at whatever you think will help you buy other stuff.

nice shield, i sold a purple name 16 al shield that had a crappier bonus for 1k, im guessing the price for ur shield would be ummmmmm.... 1.2 - 1.5k

id go with that price i think..dotn go below one k

Interesting concept however, there would be no way of enforcing any consequences to discourage "delinquent" bids... other then perhaps, IP banning from this forum...

They do have an auction board... sort of. It is Ventari's Sell near the bottom of the Guild Wars Guru Fourm page.
