stupid question about a cape..

hey.. usually there is a tooltip to tell you what you need.. but im trying to made a cape and it says i need 2 ?something? and 0 coins

that is 2 platinum 1 plat =1000g. it converts automaticly so you dont have like 123400 gold later game you would ahve 123p 400g

how the hell am i suppose to generate that kind cash?

Just keep going in the game. If you put just a little effort into it you can get enough in just a few days, much less if you're at a high level.

The other option is to get all the people in the guild to chip in, with 5 people everyone only needs to give 400 gold.

It's not supposed to be easy early on, by the way only the LEADER of a guild needs to make a cape, and all members of the guild will get the cape automatically.
This is probably why you've seen so many players with a cape. It's not that they were able to get 2000g at their level, it's because they are in a guild :P

im doin the quest to find a gift for that princess... the feather didnt work.. or the pearl.. any ideas?

I obtained 2 plantium for my guild within an hour of farming, I just simply sold items and dyes. Wasn't hard at all, and my character was only level seven at the time. If you really feel stressed about making that much, borrow some from a friend.

i dont have any friends on the game really.. none that stick around... im trying to recruit real life ppl.. but they are all playin asherons call and world of warcraft atm

You need both of those items as well as a necklace you find in a chest between ascalon and the abby. Take the mountain road instead of the clear path. And why wasn't this a new topic?

I singlehandedly created a guild and paid for a cape with a character by 10th level. The important thing to do is to save every penny and don't waste money buying miniscule upgrades. It's really not that important though. Far as I know there's no "cape restriction" like there is with duplicate character or guild names. However there are billions of possible cape combinations so maybe just nobody has made the exact same cape yet.
