u ever wondered why like there are 4-5 statues in temple of the ages and only 2 lead to new area's when we have favor?
like surly they can make a area for each one and not just UW and FoW.
so anyone want new favor area's?
UW FoW and............

I have been wanting the other statues to take us to other areas and am really hoping that they will in chapter 2.

I don't blieve the other statues will do anything in chapter 2. Why? Because people on chapter 2 will still be able to interact with people on chapter 1. If someone from chapter 1 were to join a party from chapter 2 (who would be going to a new area) well, it obviously wouldn't work out.
Conclusion: Statues will remain usless.

I can see chap 2 including access to more advanced areas via the statues. Either that, or a later side-expansion that will be added on.

There are exactly FIVE statues in ToA (that coincidently matches the number of Gods!)
And yes, I do think the other statues should do something. I also think that your character should be able to align themselves to one god (through a Quest, or Gold, or both), to give some sort of advantage, (or just to replace the Balthazar alignment for faction, at least)!
BTW, ever notice that there is a god for each profession, except Elementalist? But, Bathazar is Fire, Dwayna is Air, Melandru is Earth, and Grenth is Water (Ice).
I also think there will be new gods in Chapter 2 (why would this new land worship the same gods?). And with new gods will come new realms....

ahhhhh, i think mordakai is on to something here. That makes better sense. After all, Ascalonians, Dwarves, Krytans, etc all have different gods, why wouldnt the Canthans?
