Posting a pic on the forum is pretty easy and only a little awkward.
First of all you need a pic to post. You all know how to take a pic in GW right? For the people who don't, press your print screen key and it will save your pic.
Once you have your pic you will need to leave the game to edit it. Your pic will be located in the (images?) folder of your Guild Wars installations (usually C:\program files\guild wars\image). They will all be named gw1, gw2 etc. View and edit with XP's Image viewer or Photoshop if you have it.
Now, to be able to post a pic, it needs to be under 1024 K in size. Most pics you take will be way over this so I suggest you crop the image so that you only have what you need and save as a JPEG. This option should come up with Paint and will do in Photoshop. With that done, you are ready to host it.
www.imageshack.us --- Use this site. It is dead easy to use. Browse for your file on your pc (prob the same as above unless u saved to another folder). And click on host it! No need to sign up for anything or give them your email address. After a short while you will be taken to a page with lots of URLs. The top 3 are thumbnail versions of your pic. Not much good unless its for your Avatar pic on the forum. The bottom 4 or so are the ones we want. I have found the url for websites link (3rd one down I think) the best one (although it leaves some HTML code when pasted here - this u can delete manually though).
highlight the url and copy it.
Now it is time to post you pic in the forum.
Open a new thread or reply to a similar one and click on the Image Manager icon on the tool bar. Delete whats in the Image URL bar and paste your link. Click on INSERT and viola!!
