Best pre-FOW armor!?

Is the Regal armor still available for a Mesmer? The Strategy guide lists it but I can't seem to find it. It is 65 AL. The best I can seem to find is 60 AL. No Regal armor to be found.

No base-65al armor exists for mesmers to my knowledge (FoW armor also does not have 65al base). Rogues will give you +10 vs physical at base 60al, another one (forgot the name) will give +15 while casting with base 60al. There is another type which gives bonus energy, with base 60al.
Regal armor might exist, I know there is a 4th type with the same stats as the +15 while casting, but no armor for mesmers has an unmodified base of 65al.

The one that gives more energy is called Enchanter's Armor.
There's Performer's Armor, and I think that's the one which gives armor while casting.

I believe both performer and virtuoso give you +15 armour whilst casting. From what I recall, the stats are exactly the same, but the armour appearance is different.

Virtuoso is basically 15K Performer, the other one you are talking about is the Noble which is the 15K Courtly.
All mesmer armor are 60 AL.

To sum up Droknar's Forge armor, 15K armor and FoW are have the same requirments. They just look different.

I think this may have been an armour that was in beta testing??? My guess is that it has thus been removed from the game.

sry to drag this rly old post up, but i too would love to see a pic of the old regal armor. i'm guessing it looked similar to Dunham's armor.. pity it's not around anymore, i think it's one of the best looking armor sets for male mesmer.
do you think that anet may make it available in nightfall, like they did with the low level armor sets from prophecies in factions?
