Sure, admin kills...

...the only Christmas thread that Gaile Gray posts in, looking for ideas:
http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showt...t=89493&page=2
Seems a bit Scrooge'ish to me.
No names, but that admin has got to be the worst of the bunch! Appreciate his/her volunteer time to help the forum? Not helping, and only here because ripping posters is fun for him/her.
Read this fast as I assume it will be deleted, not closed, but DELETED, for none to see. I may even get banned, but there are other GW forums out there.
Merry Christmas Guru's!!!!
Peace on Earth, Good Will towards Man, and Death to all Stone Summit!!!

I understood the consequenses when I posted it. It seems opinions matter in here, unless of course, it doesn't happen to correspond with someone in charge's opinion.
I just found it absurd to close a thread that a GW rep asked for feedback with. That has to be a quick way to 'lose favor' with Arena, eh?

There were reasons regarding why the thread was closed (hence the mod that closed it posting those 3 links to other threads relating to the same topic). Prehaps it should've simply been moved to the Sardelac Sanitarium, however there were enough reasons to validate closing the thread.
Also, I would recommend personal opinions regarding the attitudes towards a moderator should be expressed in a PM to express your stand on the matter.

Moved to site feedback where it belongs.
The thread was redundant, nearly empty, and finally polluted by an off-topic discussion, and Gaile's post wasn't enough to let it open. But feel free to keep posting suggestions in the *official* Christmas thread (link from Savio's final post):

ahhhh...but Miss Gray did not post to any of those asking for feed back, did she?
I'm done - point made - things are always fishy throughout internet forums anyway - thanks for the input

Don't worry. ANet has many sneaky and anonymous staff members who are scanning good suggestion threads. By pruning irrelevant material, and by concentrating suggestions in constructive and on-topic threads, we hopefully make their job easier.

Okay, so you guys all feel better about it.. Gaile Gray's post is now in the other thread. Problem solved. And I really doubt that Gaile Gray would find "favor" with us if we let a post she responded in turn into a spam thread. She would appreciate that we are trying to consolidate all ideas into a single thread so if they DO want feedback, they only have one place to look for it.

! considering that the OP of the closed thread seems to be the offspring of a rabid grinch and scrooge on steroids it was flamebait from the start.
good for the mod
and to OP

You lost any form of credibility here. GG.
If you have trouble with the moderation, PM one of the admins.
He is not an admin, he is a mod.
