I want to know if you buy guild wars then install it on your computer and play and if my brother installs it on his computer will we be able to play to gether using that one copy of guild wars at the same time.

No, sorry, you need 2 copies of GW to run it on 2 computers.

You can install GW on multiple computers. However, in order to play, you need to set up an account on the servers which requires a key, and each key can only be used for one account. If you're not wanting to get another box, you can just buy a key through playNC, though I think they're charging the same price as a retail box for the keys.
