UW this friday, 12/9/05

After reading that great guide to the UW on this site, im inspired to try and complete it all in one sitting, and with a fun and group with more hen warrior, monks and eles, the guide is in the faq section of the site if u want to study up

I have lots of expierence in FoW haveing completed all the old quests in FoW and unlocked most of the Reapers in UW, would like other guys to have at least some, also having vent is a must (no point in palying for a couple of hours if we cant talk)

of course whats more important to pve then style so those in the new Gap FoW line will have priority over those wear TJ max 15k over walmart 1.5k

all with holy veil as hex removal (this is the best hex removal as it will be priceless in certain ares of UW), as in the guide a bond monks enchants will get destroyed so best to just use protective spirit (2 monks), 2 monks should bring ward vs. ele for the ice king quest, the other should have high points in protection.

Pretty tempalte build, but since no minions are around maybe then could have blood rit and be the battery (bring some mantra to prevent interuption)
and some quick way to use corpses, not minions, (for bone pits)

as long as u have meteor and metoer shower, and know how to nuke post update this is pretty basic, (bring some mantra to prevent interuption, or the glyph), malestorm is good as well, but dotn waste points on it, just need it for interuption

bring backfire, interuption, empathy, just be able to pwn casters and have empathy for the other guys, shatter hex would definatly have uses, once agian pretty open

I may be available to come. I've been playing in UW for months, with a short hiatus after the SF update, but I do know how most things work. I've also done a completion run with Katamari, so what he covered in the FAQ is pretty much what I know about as well (in regards to the various reaper quests).

I can play all classes, just let me know which one.

Just to let you know, my schedule isn't set in stone so I might have other things to do. I was planning on doing Abaddon's Mouth yesterday with my guild but it was postponed to today. A replacement monk would be good to have.

i was thinking we couldall meet in d3 toa, by the statue of lyrssa at 5:45 ish, cause it will take w a while to get stuff going, if we are done a monk we can get someone from d1, but looks like we should be good

well we dotn have favor, but we just won one game so stay tuned, ill defiantly be around

well we ended up doing this with about half the peps on this forum and soem good pub guys, one from positive zero, cleared vale, ice world, mountain, 1/2 the choas wastes and the bone pits, i mis read the UW guide on GWG and the dryders end up way behind us, and we all got killed trying to get back and save the souls.... note the bone pit refered to in the guide is that hhole with tentacles comingout of it, so dont go to the gate at the begining

drops 4 keys, 1 ecto 1 ruby, 1 bad rare, 1/4 gold chests, but great fun cool screen shots only one guy had to leave half way through

had we thought faster the guy we left behind in bone pits to take the quest could have teled us around and back,...ahh hindsight, also SS doesnt seem to work well on dead threshars/collectors
our group was one staance interupt tank (me), a mes, 3 monks, a SS/battery necro, 2 nukers

from the top of bone pits u get an insane view of pretty much everthing between that statue and the forgoteten veil abotu 12 radar distances

Yes, it was a lot of fun and was the longest I've been in UW. Most groups get bored/leave before clearing that much of it.
