Fur Squares

Ok i got a expert salvage kit today and i had 8 char hides, but all they gave were those cruddy tanned squares . I was trying to get fur squares. What did i do wrong?

Nothing whatsoever. Fur squares are ludicrously hard to obtain. Only Charr hides produce them, and one person said the use of an Expert kit on 70 Charr hides yielded only 5. My recommendation is just to get a different type of armor.

Thanks for the help. I think those numbers are insanely high and it should be patched....

You shoulda checked the very first sticky instead of making one of very many threads about fur squares

actually i believe its anything that gives tanned hides will give fur, but it is a VERY low chance

I got one from a Centaur Hide on the first try. I may just be lucky, but maybe the higher level hides have a greater chance? Unfortunately I only had one Centaur hide, so I couldn't tell you if it was purely luck, you can try though !
