Anyone know of a good build to fight the Musraat? I've suddenly statred finding them very difficult to fight. I have the infused armour, but when they cast spectral agony (and I don't interrupt) on me I'm toast in seconds - very crispy toast too!

I've tried using some of my various farming builds on them but so far no joy - anyone got any ideas??

Did you change armour after you got infused or something?

I'd double check to make sure the armor you're wearing is infused. BTW, if you're not wearing it when you talk to seer, no infusion.

Hi

Yeah, I went back after I upgraded my armour and got it infused again. It was only after this that I started having problems - it's like the Musraat got tougher.

I have started using 'bond of protection' and this has helped. I'm just off getting some elite skills at the moment, and will start trying some other skill combo's out. I'll post some of them here soon.

If you're dieing crazy fast (like 10 arrows of health degeneration), it's because ONE part of your armor is not infused.

If you're dieing because they're attacking you (i.e. normal hits and not degeneration), then you need to change your build to (1) counteract the small degeneration that spectral causes and (2) provide more armor.

Healing Breeze and Dolyak Signet will do a ton to help that.

The healing breeze & dolyak do work - thanks. I'm working on a build that involves a hammer with healing and protection skills. I'll post a half decent combo soon hopefully. I'm testing in Thunderhead Keep if any1 wants to join me. May even complete the mission too one day

I've gotten good results putting 8 points into healing prayers and keeping mending and live vicariously on constantly. Sure it forces you into an adrenaline-based axe build (sword doesn't have enough good adrenaline skills in my opinion, and hammer is too slow to take advantage of live vicariously), pretty much all the axe skills are adrenaline-based anyway.

The two main things I worry about are enchantment removal and heavy degen, I can usually stand toe to toe with even most warrior bosses without needing much, if any, help from the monks.

you? Sounds about right - although with protection skills (there is one that removes it after 5% damage) - it limits the damage.

I now use that combined with mending to limit the damage the Musraat do.

After getting rid of the first spectral agony, I ditch mending to recharge my energy faster and use healing breeze to stay alive but cast protective bond (I think) again. It works well against 1 or 2 Musraat, but more than that can cause problems.
