The shield will be selling that high due to rarity and perfect mods (except for req) and not because it's inferior number wise to collector's stance shield.
If you guys are going to argue that no one's going to pay that much then why are crystallines or sickles worth so much when they're inferior number wise? The same applies to this shield.

15k and Fissure armor are the exact same as Droknar's armor. Most weapons are equal or inferior to those that can be crafted at Droknar's Forge. Yet you see the proliferation of chaos axes, fellblades, fiery dragon swords, etc.
