4 ecto dropping from a smite run?!

Shoulda specified SOLO smite run [much less comprehensive than some full team smiters]

From my many trips [and I mean many] I've never seen this. To this date, I've never gotten more than 3

I got four shards on an FoW run... the rest of my team was rather jealous... =\

lol most i had on fow was 3 shards it was also while trying to get to armorer

3 ecto dropping is fairly common - 8-10% chance as I've seen it. 4 ecto dropping just from smites though... is a statistical anomaly lol.
This is the 1st time this has happend though and I've been farming since the cows have been coming home.

my largest drop ever before they nerfed uw drops was 6 ecto in a solo run. =)

but these days, the most i've ever seen in a party w/ 8 people, is 3 globs total from smites.

Best UW Smite run I ever had with my old "solo-monk" was 8 Globs of Ectoplasm.

one time was doing 3 man in uw back in prot bond days [we'd clear the obsidians etc easily so hence the 3 man]

and our tank monk friend died, so I threw my armor on and put some of the enchants I had been maintaing on myself & ran into some mindblade spectres.... 2 ectos dropped from the ones we were able to kill, and about 3 had already dropped earlier.


So 5 in total, but 2 of them my friend wasn't able to grab because he got killed too fast ^^ as did I.... awwh.

Lol pfft pfft. Im gunna say what happened to me but no ones gunna beleive me . when i was 2 maning with a guildie. a group of 5 smites, all dropped ectos. and ALL FOR ME but no ones gunna beleive me so meh.

Seriously, 4 ecto in a run is pretty lucky, cgz on that. But this is nothing new. And in case you didn't know: you are not the only one soloing it. Not really a secret.
It feels like the paladin template user that is blacking out his skillbar tbh... Really? Because the way that I was talking, it seemed that I was.
Not. And in case you didn't know: you can solo UW with a monk, you can solo FOW with a monk. You can Solo UW with a warrior, as well as FOW. I heard you can even Solo HoH with a fish between you legs. I'm fully aware of all this, I was just incredulous of finding 4 etco drop all from smite crawlers.
