Just Made 20

Yay!
Just got my N/Me to lvl 20. I know this may not be big for most people, but it's taken almost a month now of infrequent playing.

Just thought I'd share.

BTW (Not sure if this has been done before) why not just post here when your current character hits 20!

Was I the only one disappointed by Ascension?

I thought, wow, I'm Ascended now... but nothing really changes.

I'm not complaining, I love GW, I just thought, I don't now, something would happen. Even a free Elite or something....

4 lvl 20's... all asecended... now what? Go play WoW. At least until Chapter 2 comes out.

The first time to level 20 always feels great. Congrats. My necro still has a long way to go.

I remember reaching 20 for the first time... I was dead in Dreadnaught's Drift, when everyone tried to fight their way to Droks.

Good times.

havent' ascended. Currently hunting in Drok and trying to find all the quests I've missed. Plus, I have to go back and finish bonuses on several missions. There are plenty of skill point ops from here on out.


Yeah, that's my character in my av. I have her pretty well balanced (IMO) for necro & mesmer skills

Currently:

Runes:
Blood - Major
Death - Minor
Soul Reaping - Minor
Vigor - Minor (balances out the major I'm using)

Armor:
Vile Scar (+1 Death)

Death: 11 +2
Blood: 11 +2
Curses: 7
Soul Reaping: 6 +1

Domination: 0
Illusion: 0
Inspiration: 7

Really nice having padded stats.

BTW... before I get the nay-sayers against stats, Inspration is used for Physical Resistance quite a bit. And that skill has saved my hide more than once in battle. Curses are where I just dumped skill points, but I'm back to using my old Soul Barbs with Parasitic Bond & Life Siphon combo (does some nice damage repeatedly applying hexes). Death is mainly for minons (as most parties request me as an MM), but I also keep it and blood for Dark Bond (a nice differal of damage, but I loose minons or horrors quickly).Death also adds nice to Rotting Flesh.

N E Rate... Looking forward to earning skill points and just screwing around as a 20. It seems that once you hit 20, lower lvl players can't wait to get you in their party (even at 19, I was target of frequent invites from random players). I just gotta be careful to not unbalace things and make life too easy for them =p.

congrats u still have a long way to go lol i got my first char to lvl 20 bout a month ago in the crystal desert and still am on defend quests

Now comes the next hurdle: capping all your elites

and how many times have you been farther than ascension? You know there is a lot after ascension right?

got 4 20s and all are asended 3 finish game 1 is vl 16 thirsty river thats all

deleted 2 20s 4 more space 2 ele 1 war 1 farm monk lvl 16 MM

ah, i got 2 lvl 20s and one that has completed the game, now all i do is pvp and go FoW =D

8 level 20's, 4 that have done every mission, quest, and bonus, 4 that have beaten the game, a new level 12 necro, and a level 2 that sits in Ascalon holdiong most of my rarish stuff. Two open slots to mess around with weird combinations.

Ascension is like 75% into the game.

WAHEY! Got my N/Me to lvl 20! Woohoo... My first lvl 20 character!

It wasn't easy... at lvl 19 and 1% away from level up, only a tree stood in my way.



Yup! I got that DP when we first accidentally ran into said tree. Oops!

After getting to lvl 20, a wild rampage soon followed as every unfortunate cow that crossed our path was slaughtered... But as always, one decides to put up a good fight!



Good to see that there's something bigger and uglier out there that can still have me for breakfast!
