Does the cost of buying skills or SoC eventually cap?

I have 27 skill points and I'm at 800g a skill or sig. Does it eventually stop?

What is the cost of skills based on? Amount of skills bought or your level?

It appears to be number of skills bought, if this is true, how many can you buy before the cost increases each time?

20 (or 19) I believe, starts at 50 and increases by 50 with each skill.

Doesn't increase by 50.

It seems to be a percentage thing. or just set numbers they picked out for each skill.

They seem to have set numbers. From 50 to 100 gold, it increases by 10. From 100, it starts to go up by 25, then 50, and finally 100 gold. I should have written it down when I bought about 50 skills for my Monk, but oh well. I suppose someone else raising a new character can record it.
