I just got this email a minute ago. I think it means you can get the music separately and not have to be in the game to listen to it.

I already can play the ones I have outside the game, but I have to log in initially to acquire the license. Now if it the limited number of licenses was removed for it, then it would be more worthwhile.

This email got all (AFIAK) that are registered on the DirectSong site. I bet many of them didn't buy one or both of those soundtracks but just downloaded the free SF pack.

While I'm not sure about the 15% part of the email as it's wording leaves something to be desired, the main focus of the email is to let people know that Jeremy Soule is responsible for the soundtrack to C.S. Lewis: Beyond Narnia and that yopu can get a couple pieces of the music for free in mp3 format at http://www.directsong.com/beyondnarnia

I got that email too... the Narnia music is pretty good, I'd say.
