Gwen question
Sjoerd
I know you need to feed her a broken flute, a flute a cape and flowers. However, she accepts the flowers but not the flute! All of a sudden her character showed a cape - so I didn't risk wasting 200 gold yet. It happened when I walked outside with some one to get the resurrection signet. Is it possible that I can no longer get the item from Gwen if the other person already gave her a flute and cape?
Tharkon
Technicly you don't need her. She doesn't give you anything. She only follows you and heals you like ones every minute.
Nike
Actually she gives you a tapestry shred, which i have found no use for yet
Ramus
One broken flute, two flowers, she gave me the tapestry.
No one knows what it does yet though, keep it for later.

I gave her the flute and a cape and never noticed her healing me and never got the tapestry
Sjoerd
Hmm, I hope I can still get it even though I cant give her a cloak or flute. It would suck if I missed a key component in some sort of undiscovered epic quest.
Arran_Pellaeon
You can always make a new character and do it.

has anyone realized that he said he needs to "feed" her these items. I find that amusing.

AFAIK, you can always give her flowers, and that's all you need to give her to get the tapestry shred. Just keep giving her flowers until you become her favorite person and she gives you the shred.

The statue behind the actor's stage speaks of someone named sara.. a little more info to tease the investigator's among us.

OK. Will keep trying then for a while. Still stuck in pre-whatever as I am not sure yet if I wanna play on as a warrior/necro, necro/warrior or ranger/mes

Also, if you party with someone who has bought her the cape, then everytime you go out it counts as if you give her the cape ! mwuhaahah

Ah - that is cool. So all I need to do is feed her flowers now
I thought such a thing might break it - but apparently not.

It is my experience, from the 4 times I started from the begining, that you have to give her the cape and flute to get her to heal, and a flower or so. I once started a game and gave her one of each item up front and she "became my friend" and gave me the tapistry immediatly.
I'm not sure about benifitting from allying someone whos already spoiled her, but she somehow got the cape without me giving it to her once, and I never gained her friendship or the tapistry. It may be cumilative though, she simply becomes more fond of you depending on how much you give her, cape and flute being worth more then flowers, I don't know if you can gain her friendship with just flowers, I must have given her 20 with my first character, and she somehow got the cape without me, and never got friendship or tapistry.
Basicly she just throws a pot shot heal from time to time, I have no idea what the tapistry does, I haven't gotten far because every time I get 2 the 3rd mission I quit and start over (I think I got a good combination this time).
Also I you can find her broken flute in the second chapter in Old Ascalon, but still haven't figured anything for the flute or the tapistry, and the broken flute in the second act is not a quest item, it's just there..........
Somebody please tell me what the tapistry is for, I'm most concerned about going to the second chapter before completing all the quests.
