i just recently got a sapphire, what does it do and who should i sell it to?

Like Rubies, Monstrous Claws/Fangs/Eyes, they currently have no purpose.

Either sell it or hold onto it for hopes in chaper 2.

Try farming those Stone Elements in Ascalon, they drop them every once in a while. Solod them for 3 days, got a couple

What I'm really wondering, is why are sapphires actually worth something? Is everyone buying them in hopes that they will have a use in chapter 2?

They're rumored to be able to be made into jewelery later on, along with rubies. People have been stocking up now because they expect to rise above ecto in price.

Ima laugh when they become much more common drops

They're 'crafting material', as you can see on the item, and crafting materials are used for crafting, and all crafting materials have a use except Saphires, Rubys, and those Monstrous things, that's why they're collecting these, they think Chapter 2 will have something that needs these.

I got one from a dead something or other in the UW last night. Well actually it was a ruby. I got a sapphire somewhere in the Shiverpeaks, I believe. I got my other ruby from the Stone Elementals in Ascalon (namely outside Sardelac).

Ive gotten rubies, and sapphire in both UW and Fissure. Monstrous claws/fangs/eyes are the same... I get them all over periodically. Just in hopes of ch2, I got 50 of each monstrous... it better be worth those storage slots *shake fist*
