Are we all just passing the same items around among GWG members?

So I'm trying to buy a few items and get a couple offers. Well I don't know the price so I search GWG and I keep finding the exact same items over and over already PC'ed or auction'ed off here.

I think pretty much so, if I buy something, I will sell when I dont need it anymore here but I dont think I intentionaly sell as soon as I get the item due to profit.

Yes I keep getting people offering me dwarven and serpent axes they already bought on Guru and then contacting me in game after I posted in these forums I was looking for one in the buy section a few months ago.

So one has to wonder, who is actually buying these axes to use and not resell?

Who's inflating the prices for these weapons?

lol, well i buy most of the stuff here for use. Like with axes, i sold a couple that ive bought here on the past just because i got new ones and what not. But there are a lot of people who do just buy to resell, so the price does just keep going up.

I buy to use mainly. I'll just say that if you see any PvP-oriented people buying stuff here that they're most likely going to use it for a reason.

i never buy anything i dont plan on using (except sickle)

I'll buy stuff in game that I end up selling at lot actually (indecisive or find nicer) but never have on here at least. I have seen a couple of my items that I've sold on here and several that I've sold in game end up on GWG though (for sure 1 atm, and I'm waiting to see at least 2 more)

As for who's inflating prices, maybe the people spamming in game? I had someone offer me 37k for a 3^50 fire wand just because someone was asking 100k on a 3^50 and 7 casting wand at the time (And yes I was nice and gave it to them for 1k). But I don't know about that since I wouldnt think most people on here wouldn't get scammed easily. And could be more rich people now too, I dunno, just a couple of guesses.


Well I found another one of the items that I was expecting to come back on here

I buy axes to use. My perfect axe would be a req 7 +15% enchanted, I'd probably perfect sunder and perfect shelter it for my troll-farmer.

Yeah, it's crazy. I keep parchment on all my characters just so whenever I'm passing through asc and someone's selling for 120-140 I can auction my stuff off at 75-90gold (depending on current value) and ruin their business. Recently people have started immediately meeting my price or beating it by 5gold. I usually get 85 per, yesterday got a guy asking 120 to go down to 80 just to beat me.

I buy ingame to sell here, i buy here to use. I buy perfect, low req weapons ingame, and resell for quite a bit here, then buy a bunch of high req items that i can still use here.
