RPG vs PVP?

limited on time to play so havent figured this out yet
is there any advantage to choosing RPG over PVP? does lvling in rpg give you better armor in pvp? or is there a whole pvp set up in the RPG mode that i've yet to see? (only lvl 6, no beta experience)

more or less wondering if there's any point to lvling the RPG char. i only want to pvp.

There are two choices for you, you can continue to RP and build up the items and skills you have access to so that you can build a "custom" PvP character

Or

You can build a "pre-made" PvP character that has only certain skills and weapon choices.

anything you unlock with a rp character will be available for the pvp character

you can take your rp character to any pvp but the pvp is restricted to pnly pvp areas

I dont get it still. I am using 2 runes of Major Blood and Curses magic on my Necro PvE, but when I create PvP char i can only chose Minor runes... And I cant take the weapon I found and the armor I crafted --- only skills that I learned appear in PvP too.
Is it a bug or what?

Im not sure about that but one thing is for sure, you can bring your Roleplay char to the PvP arenas and have your armour, runes and weapons and kick the .... of the other people with limited items and skills. Fort Ranik is just off the Third town (i dont remember the name but its the next town after Lions Arch), if you are getting major runes you cant be too far off it.

I just wanted to play PvP with Warrior because I completed all missions with my PvE Necro and unlocked many warrior items: nice shields and swords. And it seems there is no way to use them in PvP unless I create another PvE character warrior :/

Unlocked not items but their upgrades

You only "UNLOCK" the upgrade items or runes if you FIND them, not if you buy them. --- Just for clarification, I reread it and it sounded like a negative remark.
