The Bug in Dragons Lair
Kylista
Ok, so why hasn't the bug in dragons lair been fixed? I've done it 3 times in a row now where the stupid henchman all run off the map as soon as I spawn into the next dragon lair area.....When I die (which is inevitable because I have 1 person in my party after that), I go to the henchman view and they are actually in the previous dragon lair area....how is this bug still around when I first saw it about 4 months ago.......

:\ Their slow to fix some things.
The Portals at Dragon's Lair have been broke for awihle your right. For Henchies and Pets.

Anet has to deal with HUNDREDS of bugs and errors be patient it takes a while to fix all of them . The Fact update come and it also creates NEW bugs makes this worse.
I fell sry for Galie having to answer to all these fansite complaits.

I used to send email after email about henchmen and pets getting munsened in Dragon's Lair, and quite frankly I don't think they ever cared.
They keep saying that its not a top priority and since its been about 5 months or so it obviously isn't.
I guess its more important for them to release chapter after chapter to get more money than fix what is currently broken... And im not one to usually say this... and I know that they have tried to fix the game many times.
You know what they say, sometimes its best to smash the vase into millions of pieces than to reach under the couch for the fallen piece.
I fell sorry for the pet weilding characters who want to have their pet defeat Glint all by himself.

There are several places that pets don't catch up. The same thong happens at the infusion run. I've stopped bringing my pet on mission now because of this.

I did dragon's lair mission 2 days ago and i didn't have any problem with NPC beside having them stand into the "spell spot" in the elementalist domain.
Maybe there's something people do while entering portals that make NPC run away?
There's odd things happening depending how you enter portals sometime. Like, i don't remember how to trigger it, but sometime i go through portal while pressing a key and on the next map my character keep turning around like if my A or D key were stuck.

A few days ago,the cat got stuck in a wall near the end of area four, missed area five, and showed up again in area six -- just in time.

I think it is a bug that results from the henchmen trying to attack a monster then being teleported. Since all six parts of dragon's lair are all on the same map, the henchmen will still think that they are aggroed with whatever monsters they were before they were teleported. I don't know why they wouldn't eventually just change their aggro once you retarget them though, but I think it stems from that.

I think Anet hasnt fixed this because their to dam busy nerfing every thats good in GW... stupid anet...
MrMoo
i think the term is balancing - not nerfing.
Alot of people complained about the AoE 'nerf' but i think its great, oh no my healer is being attacked - Lava Font, oh they've run away... Oh no they're coming back - Lava Font, oh, there they go again.....

The correct term IS nerfing for what A.Net is doing to their game. But let's no get into another discussion of that kind. The trolls are allready growling in their caves, all to ready to throw their uber argument into the thread "oloolool whiner!".
Back to the topic then:
I really wonder what their priority is on their updates and patches. One would think Bugs go first, but somehow it is "Nerfs go first". I submitted a really severe bug quite a few times. And at one time i even got the standard reply to post it in a public board. Sure thing A.net... i'm gonna post that Crash an Instance Bug publically so everyone can dupe his items easily Oo.
Well... maybe i should.
Currently A.Nets Stance on severe Bugs and Problems seems to be "Ignore them long enough, maybe they will go away without doing anything.". Thanks... this stance brought Europe a REAAAAAL long episode of unbearable lag with LOOONG weeks that lacked ANY sign or ANY reaction from A.Net.
A.Net allways pretends they are listening to their community. They do... but sadly to those that scream nerfs while ignoring those that say "hey folks, severe bugs over here". And if you message their support you get the standard reply.
