What is better in this case? Stance or HP above 50%
Akilles
I have a bow that gives plus 14% when hp is above 50%
I just got a bow that is 15% while in stance and has a even lower req.
would the stance be better for a bow since u need to be in a stance while using it?

It depends how often you use stances. Assuming you spent equal time under both conditions of the bonus damage, yes, 15% would do more damage than 14%.

Personally i'd go for the 14^50 as it's not often your health drops below 50%.
I mean in PvE and not PvP of course, if the bows are the same apart from the 14/15 bit then you just need to work out what happens more is your health above 50 more than you are in stances when in battle?

Rangers. Or at least my ranger was always in stances in battle. I think she was in "Apply Poison" during all of battle so its personal preferance. See how you play and what you need

'Apply posion' is a Preparation not a stance so i don't know if you'd get the bonus.

Apply Poison does NOT give the stance bonus. I should know, I use a stance R/W with that. Doesn't work like that.
I'd say concider how often you use stances. If you're spamming attack speed increasing stances, then the [email protected] bow would be better. Otherwise, the +14^50 would be a better pick on the whole.

You guys aren't thinking out of the box.
Put one bow in one weapon slot and another in the other. Use F1 and F2 to switch. Switch to the stance bow when your in stance and go to 14^50 bow when your not.

If the 14^50 is a clean bow and you want the extra 1% and don't care about looks there are collector bows that give you the bonus.
Thats what i've done for my ranger just got the collector shortbow with 15^50 and chucked a +29 health and a 10/9 sundering string on delivers some nice damage and quickly with the attack speed increases.

I'd always stick to a stance bow. A Warrior or Ranger not using at least one stance to either survive or KILL their opposition is lacking a huge asset to their skillbar...
