Price Check On 2 Massive Energy Rods

1.) Gold req. 9 Smiting Rod w/ +14 energy -1 energy regen

2.) Gold req. 8 Holy Rod w/ +15 energy -1 energy regen

Worth nothing, items with similar stats are found throughout the later parts of the game from various collectors. You could probably sell one to someone that isnt aware of that though.

id say like 20k each could be more

The guy is asking 100k+ for the divine (I only own the smiting), and to be honest, I really find the rod useful enough to pay. The smiting one I have has smiting req. so I don't really attack with it, but with the 8 req. divine favor, I can both have +15 energy and attack with max damage. I do know it may sound like a rip off, but I use a build called energy storage. With Saintly armor, I get 72 energy. With athstetics, I get 79. With athstetics and 10% moral, I get 81 energy. That's a nice large reserve to fall back on. *nod*

Yeah but you only have +2 regen, 3 if you have PnH on you, in which case you won't be attacking foes anyway.

I use the "stored" energy when I need it in worst case scenarios, then switch back to my Brohn's Staff or The Yakslapper where I recharge in 4 energy regen, then switch back if I need the energy again immediately, which gives me the energy I recharged. *nod*

If I don't need the energy, I don't use the rod & ankh/icon. It is very effective, so try it!

I think the fact that collectors give these away kinda lowers the price, i guess it would then come down to skin but i don't know anyone thats fussy about the looks of a rod or wand.

Focus swapping is common in PvP, destructor. No special "build" there.

The collector +15/-1 do not, I believe have max damage (or even close). Up to you if its worth the price for max damage. It is if your rich and would use it a lot.

100k still feels a bit steep, but people go nutty for Monk rods, so probably a fair price.

The smiting one would be a lot less because it isnt max, and smiting isn't as desirable.

The divine is usualy sold for 50k, usualy any monk wands/rods with the max energy of +15/-1 or +5>50% will go for 45-50k if its max dmg and low req, well thats how much Ive seen them being sold for the last couple of days.
