What's the easiest way to get money, both pre-sear and post-sear?

kill things and then sell the loot

In pre-sear it is good to have both salvage and money before entering the academy, so when you've done all the quests you might want to go exploring for a while. You likely won't get any experience points but you can stock up on salvaged items and sell a lot of stuff for gold. I wish we could pass Gold via the vaults in post-sear.
