Me/Mo suggestions..

Currently playing an RPG character, a Me/Mo. Frankly, since I've started I've only seen one other Me/Mo (and to be honest, only a handful of primary mesmers)

Right now I'm playing a Dominaton mage..skills are..

1.Empathy
2.Backfire
3.Shatter Delusions
4.Energy Burn (Target loses X energy and takes 8 damage for each)
5.Chaos Storm
6.Healing Winds
7.Heal Other
8.Ressurect

Skills are set at 12-7-7 (Dom-Heal-FC) including runes/mask.

For PvP, I swap out Chaos Storm with Power Spike.

It seems to do good in PvE, but PvP has some problems. Of course, I'm waiting until Ascention to really get into PvP.

Any suggestions?

For PvP, make sure you have a really good tank and a good primary healer.

Remove all your monk skills except for Ressurect. Trust me, without Divine Favor or Energy Storage, healing isn't worth it. Replace them with dominations counters and debuffs and run an antimage.

Remember, trying to be a Jack-of-all-Trades doesn't work in serious PvP. You have to be on a team where everyone does one thing well.

I think you're right. The further I get, the better players are and the less I need to use my monk skills, even in PvE. Part of the problem is that I just don't feel comfortable without some sort of healing, mainly because I don't really trust other people to do it. I actually may try switching to a full 7-1 for PvE, or maybe 6v2. Without Divine Favour heal spells just don't have enough kick. Maybe I'll keep Healing Breeze for some backup..maybe not.
