Why was the game changed yesterday?

This new stuff with nowhere to go and getting killed by monsters that don't take damage is nuts. At least before I was killing those little worms and fish.
And there were new places to go, so I could find more worms and fish. But now, nothing. If the object of this new stuff is to torment the customer, it worked.

What level are you? Because if you're too low, you should just spend a few hours killing the weakest monsters you can find and doing the quests with henchmen or other players until you're good enough to do missions. (You should probably get to around level 6-7)

If you are still in pre-sear Ascalon walk around the city and talk to anyone with a ! above him...Most (except for the guards) will give you quests and missions which will earn you experience, good stuff to sell and send you out to other parts of the map..you need to open your waypoints...Ashford, Foibles Fair, Barradin Estates, Fort Ranik. There are people with quests in all of these places. You will also want to add a second profession. I suggest you go check out the posts here...there is a lot of information here as well as at the Guild Wars main site. It sort of sounds to me like you just came into the game and rushed out whacking away at things without following the story and learning anything. Backtrack. Don't be in such a hurry. Talk to NPC's there are tons of them and lots more enemies to kill and stuff to salvage or sell...then when you have done it all..enter the academy and get ready for the real world.
