Guild Wars Collectors (Spiny Seeds)

I made a search for "spiny seeds" and had no threads found...
My problem is the following - i got into the desert area and i found that collector, that gives me dom. magic chakram, but he wants 5 Spiny seeds for that... I have no idea where i can find them and noone could give me that information. If you can help me - post your answers here, please.

Seeds come from creatures that pop out of the ground and heal themselves quickly. I can't remeber the name right now, but they're triangular shaped and appear in pre-searing, The Wilds, along Borlis pass, and a few other places. You need to find the version of that creature in the crystal desert or beyond.

I've seen them, and got 1 spiny seed (and sold it because I hadn't seen that collector). I don't remember exactly where either (It might have been outside Rocknar's Forge). I would suggest starting from each of 3 ascendance quests and exploring around them. If you find the little buggers, let me know

They appear in The Arid Sea together with those Jades that also come up from the sand, I haven't seen them drop any seeds yet but makes sense if they did.
