Please Help!

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not, and sorry if it's the wrong place. I need help and don't know what to do, I think my guildwars account has been hacked because I tryed to log in today and I got a message saying that I've been banned do to offensive behaivior??? And can't log in for 146 hours!!! The last time I logged in was two nights ago, so someone must have hacked into my account between then and now. And now I can't even log into to change my password because I'm suspended.

Please anyone? Many thanks in advance!!

There are two possibilities...

-Offensive behavior... tsk, tsk, tsk
-Or someone 'hacked' into your account

I personally think it was the former. Unless you actually gave your password out which is very unlikely

I didn't do anything myself. It says I've been suspended because of offensive behavior, but It wasn't me!! How can I prevent someone from hacking into my account like this, and do yo think that Areanet will reactivate my account if I can get a hold of them??

yea....i dont think there is anything u can do except wait till the suspension is over :/

OMG! That totally sucks! 146 hours without guildwars!!
And it wasn't even my fault!! Is there anyway I can talk to an areanet person over the phone? Not to sound like a baby or anything but It's not fair!!! They should ahve some kind of support for this, there could be a vulnerbilty in the software which allowed my account to be hacked! I know I didn't give out my password, and it's not something easily guessed.

I 100% highly doubt there's any flaws or open gates to which a hacker can get through the server...

Don't you think there'd be mass-hackings...?

Downloaded any cheat programs? Or such that may be keylogged? Or you might've sworn which offended someone, or rude behaviour, etc etc...

I think its the offensive behavior.
But seriously, you might have been key-logged or been using cheat programs.

And there is nothing you can do besides waiting it out.

No, I didn't download any cheat programs, I hate that they even exist. I believe in a fair an honest gaming world for guildwars, IT's the best game I've ever played, and for the most part everyone I've encountered has been just that.
I hope that there's no keylogs, I'm going to scan just incase. And it's not possible for me to have offended someone because I don't think I swear much, not vugar swearing anyways, just stuff like "crap" and "friggin" hahaha. I keep to myself and try to help others when I can.. I just hope I can get into my account before whom ever hacked it to change my password.

if somebody hacked the account they would have changed the password and email and you simply wouldnt get that message.

since it usually takes several days/weeks for them to go through their pile of complaints whatever is the cause could be weeks old by the time they get to you.

Well, you can always grab an interesting book, sit by the pool, and work on your tan.
