Messed Up Terrain, ATI Radeon 9250

The terrain is messed up all over the place in the world. It looks a lot like a checkerboard at times. I read about this bug happening with NVIDIA based cards but I could not find it documented for the ATI cards. Anybody know how I can resolve this?

Yes I have. I downloaded them this morning but no change.
