K... I've tried this a few times to see how observent people really are. I took my character and lined them up with the henchies. Other players will naturally look for a hench to join their team when they can't get enough for a mission/whatever. After the group as left the city, I'll ask, "So, what're we doing". The best part is that they didnt' realize I was a PC, not a henchman.

You honestly wouldn't believe how often this works and how many don't pay attention to how/what they're selecting.

(FYI: It's worked as far as Thunderclap for me)

Actually, my cape was on the entire time.

Then again, some people do send random invites to everyone in the zone.

(Unless they came out and admitted they thought you were a henchman... then, yes, very oblivious indeed!)

Yeah... it's mostly them realizing they mistakenly invited a player instead of a hench. I wouldn't post this if I hadn't verified it through conversation. To be a sport, I stick with the group and help out, but I gotta admit... it is funny to watch them when they realize I'm not a Hench.

It's like, you invited a N/Me. Henchies only have 1 class.

Along the same lines. Its very funny to get ran to Droks at level 3. Run to the Ice Caves of Sorrow, and spam Level 20 Healing Monk LFG, when you are really a level 3 E/R. Sooooooo many people invited me. It was funny accepting their invitation and having them go wtf and kicking me. Most people that invited me declined their invitition almost immediately, but the few that didn't were fun to take advantage of.

Almost got away with it in one group, until someone asked wtf a level 3 was doing in our group.

No, they basically just seem like they're feeling dumb about it. They kinda, "oops" and "Who are you?" Or, I thought I grabbed (insert Henchman's name).

Imaginary,
I totally agree with that too. I usually hold Alt Down to make sure I'm grabbing the right henchmen.
