charm animal stays or the animal goes.

without comfort amimal you cant heal your pet but will get it back with each zoneing if it dies

The skills you get for a ranger in the beginning is fine. Get all the skills you can from Pre-searing. ALWAYS have Distracting Shot. It prolly considered an Elite Skill. Read the Wind is also good and crucial to have. Troll Unguent is alright, but can be replaced if you have a monk wit ya. Hunter's Shot is a good spammable skill in the beginning. Try to avoid the skills that cost about 10-15 energy, as it kills your energy and as you don't have much points into expertise.
