one question

I looked at the map and it doesnt have a ton on it. is that all ther is??
because i played a different MMO and the staff updated it every so often.

plz tell me everthing u kno. thx!

Second where are you, Pre-Searing or Post Searing?

Please take a look at MOOMANiBE's map (possible spoilers). Most likely, you're in pre-searing Ascalon, which is only a very small fraction of the real world.

Please read all of the articles in the New Players Center, as well as all of the guides. You'll find that they'll answer most of your questions.

I believe you are in Pre-Searing Ascalon. I like to call it Pretty Ascalon [if you have seen the searing, you'll know why]. However, to make sure, here are a couple questions:
Is Ascalon City red/orange in general?
Do you see any henchman available for hire in Ascalon?
When you step outside Ascalon, does it looks like barren wasteland?
Is anyone asking for Fur Squares?

If you answered "no" to all of these, you are in Pretty Ascalon. If you think you've done everything and would like to move on:
1] Obtain a second profession.
2] Level up past lvl3.
3] Speak to a Town Guard for the Path to Glory quest [if you have already completed this, skip this step].
4] Go to Ascalon City. If you want to be with a friend, meet him there and party up.
4] Speak to Sir Tidus. If you've done everything right, he'll have a whole bunch of scary stuff in red. If you are ready to leave everything behind, click the first option. If you have a partner, click the second.

And, voila!
