Can some one give me an idea of what a build like this would be? Im new to monks and I'd really like to make a smiter.

1. Why Mo/N? - What part of Necromancer do you want/need for a smiter?
2. Where in the game? - Early (before ascension), Later (post ascension), UW/FoW?
3. What are your goals? - Solo or group play now, later? PvP or PvE?

1) It seemed like the most interesting choice, and that it both had a bunch of options, yet still effective at healing at such.

2) Right after ascention.

3) I was just thinking a general build sense, to get me started, so I can branch out.

Thanks in advance!

oh...
Well, your best bet may be to cap snake dance for signet of judgement, and take the basic smitage (banish, sig of judge, bane sig, holy wrath to scare away pve warriors), take some necro blood to back you up (life siphon and vampiric gaze), then take rebirth and one utility slot, for something situational such as hex removal or condition removal, or an extra offensive spell (holy strike, vampiric touch, barbed signet, or smite are good backup choices).

The problem with builds like that are long recharge, so you ant to lead out with life siphon on various enemies over and over, interspersed with spells.

so like : life sipon enemy 1, sig of judge enemy 1, life siphon enemy 2, bane sig enemy 1, life siphon enemy 3, banish enemy 1 and drop holy wrath, etc etc etc.

You can probably keep up a good cycle, since you only have 2 main attributes you'll be good on damage too. Energy management may be a problem if you spam vampiric gaze too much, i'd keep that as backup life gain or to finish an enemy off.
