I am trying to get a green staff and left had weapon from morgriff shadestone out in grenth's footprint. Well I was wondering how i can get that good of a drop i have whooped him like 10 tiems now and he will drop a hide or soem cash/ It just seems like I have shitty luck ya know.

The bosses in GF have pretty crummy drop rates, due to the ease in accessing them. Just gotta take fewer in your party, and repeat.

right, so that way loot is split between fewer people. So when he finally does drop the green, there's a higher chance it will be for you, and not friends, pug members, or henchies (lack of a drop).

Easiest to do it with trusted friends who would be willing to give you the items you need. They're not too terribly expensive (the ones in GF, at least) so I think that it would be pretty reasonable to ask their help in farming

2 henchmen, 2 players, means that if the item DOES drop, it'll go to you 50% of the time.

Well, might I suggest you browse? There are plenty of reliable guilds out there through the thick of the mess. Mine, for instance, does SF/GF at least 3-4 times a week, more if we can. It's not hard, just get aquainted with the right people. I'm not saying you gotta be a people-person, just you know, break the ice and start an idle conversation, "How's the weather there" and slowly work into "Is your guild recruiting? I've been looking around..." etc..
