Wait, so they are already dead? And they are allies? Sounds like they match the Dead Ally description on IWAY pretty well.

However, just because you have "battled many mf builds" is certainly no guarantee that it doesn't work, because it should only be effected by allied minions.

i'm pretty sure iway doesn't work with minions... since their not listed in the "ally" party menu...

I have to say YES it does, unless somebody tests otherwise.
I tried IWAY in dragons layer with a minion master. It also worked in CA, as I had IWAY and there was a minion master there. The minion leaves a corpse for a short period of time, and this corpse is expoitable for IWAY. I'm not sure how long the corpse sits there for though.

Minions do count as 'allies', not sure if they work for IWAY.

how about this --- pet dies, turn him into 2 1st level minions and let them die.
multiply by 5 players, or so.

There is a better way of doing it than that....

Here's the definitive YES!!!! IWAY works with minions... I've tested it... the catch is that you have to use IWAY right after the minions die to get the effect...after ~5 secs you can't get the IWAY effect from minion deaths. When testing this with a guildie, we got a huge army of minions and had them all die at about the same time...I subsequently had an IWAY going for over 2 mins....

If you are still a disbeliever go test it yourself... just need 3 ppl, 1 iway war, 1 sacer, 1 mm/reser....until you've tested it no more BS about it doesn't work

I posted something similar about 2 days ago on what is considered an ally and what isn't. At first I thought unless they show up in the ally section in the party dialog box they are not, but it appears that certain skills do benefit allies even when they are not listed there....I think we need a clarification on this because some skills work and some don't.....exactly what is an ally?

I would define an ally as anything that is under your or your parties control.
