Where is the second 15 point attribute quest?

The first one is the "Forgotton One's" quest which has you go around the desert, but I cannot find the second one - has anyone else found it ?

i've heard people talking that it's Hero's Challenge.

To get this quest, you must first do Hero's Journey, and do some of the "path" quests...

Do you know which path quests? I did Hero's Journey and nothing came out of it.

For Hero's Journey you are sent to three towns; all three have quests which allow you to change your secondary profession. After completing Hero's Journey and one of the secondary profession quests, talk to Vanyi in Droknar's Forge and she will give you Hero's Challenge, the reward of which is 5,000 exp and 15 attribute points.

You have the option to change your profession. This way when you are close to ascending and you are not satisfied with your secondary you can change your profession.

Ok so I have done the hero's challenge quest for 15 attribute points and 5kxp but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get "the forgotten one's" quest and it is killing me. I have 185 out of 200 total attribute points and as far as I can tell you are supposed to talk to someone in Destiny's Gorge to get the quest but I searched that place 10 times over and no one there has any quest for me. I have also already completed all of the class change quests. Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know what the problem might be? Vanyi in Droknar's Forge also does not have any quest for me.

Annelle Fipps is the ghost in Destiny's Gorge that gives you The Forgotten Ones. If she isn't giving it to you, either you already did it, there's something else you need to do first, or something's messed up.

If there's something you need to do first, I don't know what it would be, she gave it to me the moment I saw her, but then I'd already done a number of other quests in the area.

Yeah Annelle is the person I thought it was supposed to be but she has no quest for me. I can't really remember if I did it or not but I definitely don't have the extra attribute points. Also I have done every quest in my log that I have found so far all the way up to ember light camp. I think my character might be doomed to never get all of his attribute points.

I've already contacted A.net about it, but I'm still waiting for a reply/fix from their QA department. I'd reccomend using the bug report feature on their site so they're aware it's not just an isolated bug, might get them to fix it sooner since it's been 3 days since they said I'd get an answer/fix from someone with a pulse.

Me/N

How many times are you allowed to repeat a secondary profession switch quest anyway?

I mean, if I'm a Me/Mo I switch to Me/R to unlock some skills, then go back to Me/Mo... then go to Me/N to unlock some more skills, can I become a Me/Mo again?

Edit: oops, if I had looked a little harder, my question would have been answered. Yes, you can switch back and forth to any secondary once you complete the quest for it.

I just did the Forgotten Ones which I got from Destiney's Gorge but I didn't receive any attribute points. I completed Heros Challenge and got an extra 15, but nothing with the Forgotten Ones. it wasnt even listed as a reward, did they change it or something?

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. The one for 15 att points I got was from a snake dude and we had to meet his friend who has the same name on top of some hill next to a fallen down statue. Did it and got 15 att points and 1.5k xp

can you be more specific? Who did you talk to to get the quest? where exactly was this "snake dude" (what zone)?

Well, we were looking for the river (which we never found) When we came out of augury rock we headed east/southeast to the teleporter instead of north to Divinity something (Coast maybe?). When went south form the teleporter, around the corner was this snake guy named Slithss something (somebody help me out here). He gave the quest and the area is very close. When you go through the next teleporter (here is the trick so you don't have to walk around) die and you'll end up on the path to the zone when you are ressurected by one of your teammates. It brings you to (Arid Sea? I'm horrible with names) From there you will see the guy you need. The entrance took awhile to find but instead of trying to climb up the rock hill you will notice a bridge connected to it and on the other side is a fallen statue, run around that hill and on the map (the one you hit U to open up) You will see something that looks like a stair like slope in the mountain. Go up and that and you are there. Just run across the arm of the statue to get to him.

**EDIT** It's not divinty coast I had a brain fart it's destiny something.

dude you either give the worst directions ever, or you found that guy by activating some quest or something because I couldn't find him and I went all over the place.

Well I'm not on the game I'm at work, but after looking at your map I firgured out I was side ways. Do like this, before the valley with all the centaurs there is a teleporter, use it go south. I'm not sure where the second teleporter is but it's close. From the dude is like right there. And no he starts the quest. I did it last night half asleep. And calm down I already said I wasn't exactly sure the location, I can't do the quest for you

I found Sliss Yassith in Arid Sea for the first time but he had no quest for me. He is a bit hard to find but if you can get on the platform with Yannel Brunn then you are close. From there is a bridge that doesnt look like you can run across it but you can. For me however he wasn't any help

Was I even on the right side of the map? And judging by the map I only see two teleporters (except for the one that goes to the last ascension quest) and I used both teleporters when I went. Was I even close at all?

EDIT: ok, lets start with this, break the zone into quadrants: is he on the south half or north half of the map? and do you remember what side (east/west) of the north/south half he's on?

2nd EDIT: hehe actually, if you can (I know you're at work) just draw a little star of where you think the dude is (approximately) on the map I uploaded

I seem to have a similar problem. I noticed today that I only had 185 points and I have already completed the quest from Vanyi and I remembered getting the Forgotten Ones quest on my monk. I went to get it for my warrior and Annelle Fipps wouldn't give me the quest. I thought, "Maybe I did it already" and so I ran to the Sliss-whatever guy but he didn't have any reward for me. So the only logical conclusion is that I never had the quest to begin with and she won't give it to me. I hope they fix this soon, because it is just unfair that some people can not get all their 200 points.

Go out to Skyward reach from Destiny's Gorge, the Snake NPC that you need to talk to is in the circle I made on the map:

Yes I know, I went to him and he didn't have anything for me. He said some things, but didn't give me the attribute points, nor did he have a green ! on top of his head.

ok, i finally beat the quest. first you need to do the Forgotten Ones quest, which requires you to talk to the snake guy (which is indeed on the map provided by sully) then after you complete the quest, talk to the snake guy again and HE gives you the heros challenge.

here are 2 pictures about the quest, 1 shows the quest log and the guy who gives it and the other the way you have to move to get there

If you do the switch secondary quest, do you actually have to switch? All I want to do is unlock the ability to get the Hero's Challenge quest, not switch class. That possible?

stylow

Ascalonian Squire

for the hero's challenge quest you need to have done the Forgotten Ones and 1 of the jobchange quests, you dont have to change the job to get Hero's Challenge and neither do you have to do Forgotten Wisdom to get Hero's Challenge

So to add it all together, for Hero's Challenge you have to do :
* Forgotten Ones
* 1 jobchange quest
* Talk to Vanyi in Droknars Forge

gwplayer

the problem is the chick that gives the forgotten quest out isn't giving it to me. where do you get the forgotten wisdom quest?

stylow

Ascalonian Squire

there are 2 forgotten quests, there is the Forgotten Ones & Forgotten Wisdom.

You get forgotten ones in Destiny's Gorge, i believe you have to speak to Sariss Yassith to finish the quest.

Once you finished Forgotten Ones talk to him again and he gives you Forgotten Wisdom, which you can finish by following the the above route.
