Just thought to make a thread where people might post some ideas about what mod could be added in. And be sure to keep within balance.

Hammer Mod: Knockers: 25% chance to lengthen knock down time

Off hand Mod: Intellegent: +3 energy, -30 hp

Wand Mod: Sapper: +1 steal energy, -1 energy regen

Bow Mod: Freezer: 20% of causing condition smilar to Deep Freeze

Sword Mod: Blaster: 10% of casting Lv 1 Inferno

Staff Mod: Hex Breaker: 20% when being hex, reduce hex time by 50%

I think they should add mods like yours, but with a certain prefix as a requisite.
For example -
Sword Pommel of Burning [req Fiery Sword Hilt]
Target Hit Catches Fire for 1-2 seconds [Chance: 10%]

Ancient upgrade - for any weapon

For example...

Ancient Fellblade of Fortitude
15-22 damage
Health+30
+ 1 energy gain when you use skill (this is the ancient bit)

Yes, gaining 1 energy from a weapon when using skills could cause problems but also new possibilities...

Shadowy (Prefix)
Causes weapons to do Shadow damage.

-Edit- heh, shadowy is a horrible name.

I have another, (working off of Slade's idea.)
Darkfire (Weapon) of Shadows (That should probably be reversed and renamed a little.)

#% Chance on hit of Immolating the opponent for 2 seconds
-Edit- Even better!
Dark (weapon) of Blood

#% Chance of stealing # health from the opponent on hit.
Maybe an energy version too, like: of Souls or something.

umm lets see here

a few wand mods fire air water and earth should have a mod that like

expl. fire spells have chance to do double damage 20% and so on

necros and monks and mesmers could have something like that too

+x% chance of teleporting randomly with each <spell/skill/hit>

+x% chance to ignore armor

+x% chance to summon lvl xx <monster>

+x% chance to lock random skill on impact (attacker & target)

+x% chance to swap 2 foes' position (target & random adjascent)

+x% chance to trigger flashy visual effect (purely ascetic mod)

+x% chance to chance 3d model (purely ascetic mod)

+x% chance to create gold

+x% chance to aggravate mobs on radar
