Invincible Build

Hello. I'm trying to make a build as invincible as possible. So far, I have a Mo/R (Originally a Mo/Me) with these skills.

Spell Breaker
Serpent's quickness
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Blessed Signet
Balthazars Spirit
Mending
Blessed Aura

I use an axe of +% enchanting as well, too make the spell breaker last just that much longer. Lasts around 30 sec, just about perfect to recast as it dies, while using serpents quickness.

Max out divine favor, wear all superior runes and use a -50hp offhand to get down to 55 hp, keep prot spirit running, use the +4hp regen from the mending, get my energy from balthazars spirit (LOTS of energy if I'm under heavy attack) and also blessed signet. Serpent's quickness is to keep Spell Breaker up for a longer time. So far, it works fairly well. I can almost always make any run between war camp, citadel, and copperhammer. I do have troubles with knockdown. Sometimes I switch to a warrior and change serpents quickness in for balanced stance, but then spell breaker tends to be down for too long.

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this build better? I don't have a whole lot of trouble with hexes, due to my spell breaker being up for almost all of the time. I tend to die from not being able to cast protective spirit or healing breeze because of knockdown, or an occasional shatter that slips though the time between spell breakers.

Thanks for your help,
~>Fermion<~

Edit---

You know what? I think this probably should be in questions and answers. I'm not sure. If a moderator notices this, then he/she should feel welcome to move it if they think it should be. I'm a newbie here, so I am not sure. Thanks.

have you tried Arcane Echo instead for spellbreaker, because thats the only differnce in my build i used to yours

edit: worked out the way u do it and it seems alot better in the loner run and i will have to try it out, cos the 5-6 secound gap isn't that bad

This sounds like a durable build.
I like how you can stay alive and disuade enemy's from attacking you, namely warriors and rangers.

I'll definatly try it out.

Thanks for your comments.

By the way, I have a small alternative to the build. I kind of like it this way too.

Spell Breaker
Protective Spirit
Blessed Signet
Healing Breeze
Mantra of Resolve
Watchful Spirit
Mending
Balthazars Spirit

Basic premise is to get constant +6hp regen, and deal with interupts with mantra of resolve. Works amazingly in areas with no shatters and no life stealing, but will not stand up to shattering very well at all. (I'm actually thinking about putting divine boon in there.. I could use it as an excellent, very quick cover enchantment..) Reguardless, all this does is change out extra length for spell breaker for extra hp regen. It works well in many situations.

Desecrate would most probably hurt like hell when SB wears off. My vote would be a combination of Chillblains + Nature's Renewal... y0wch...

Desecrate enchanments would still only deal about 16-21dmg tops because of Prot Spirit, then +4 mending and a quick healing breeze.....good as new.

well not really
since it all goes in 1 time. so they take the dmg in 1 time and mending and/or watchful wont do anything against it.

Just to clear it up, shadow damage DOES go through the protective spirit. Not fun. Desecrate would kill me in 1 hit, even without any enchants on me. Chiblains is annoying, but by no means terrible. I am always careful to keep healing breeze or spell breaker on top of my prot spirit, finding a good spot to reapply prot spirit and immediately healing breeze or spellbreaker. I realy dont die from enchantment stripping anymore. Used to be a problem, but it is fixable. An idea, though, is to learn the enchantment strippers, and use an interrupt, IE power drain to prevent them from ever hitting you with the strip. I've heard thats how you deal with the shadows in UW.

Other skills that kill me.

Feast of corruption
Spiteful spirit
Deathly chill
Dark Pact
Shadow strike
Order of the vampire

Also any life stealign skills will kill me extraordinarily quickly.

That means I need to AVOID NECROS!! (Avicara guiles don't bother me, and theres certain other ones I don't have to worry about too, that dont use shadow damage or life stealing)

Just wanted to elaborate on how that works,
Thanks,
Fermion.

Im guessing this is a 2 man uw build, since u have no damage spells if it is a 2 man, GOOD JOB, even tho the normal 55 monk can tank any meele opponents in the game... and u can just echo sb. if its not for 2 mans.. wtf is it for??

If you are running from area to area, that build is close to flawless with the right attributes. If you need to solo an area that has strip enchantments with that, then I suggest that you sub out a skill for zealots fire. The AOE damage is going to make the enemies scatter, but it is the only way you are going to be able to kill something if you aren't running shield of judgement or spiteful spirit.

Other than that, good thinking.

Also, desecrate enchantments and spiteful spirit do NOT ignore protective spirit. I personally farm against creatures that use these skills, and if you want to test it, the necro azure shadow boss outside of Camp Rankor is easy to get to. The reason some of those DO penetrate prot spirit is because they are life stealing. FoC in particular steals life if you are hexed, as do shadow strike and gaze.
