To start, I searched and there are a couple of threads similar but not exactly like this. Also, I'm not saying all people are stupid, or that human intelligence is subpar, but that this event made me so goredengine-ing made that I had to vent.
Today, I was in tombs, and I wanted to get some quick faction/fame, so I wanted to make an EoE bomb. I put it in guild chat to see if anyone was interested. -no response-
Oh well, I thought, I'll make a PUG, explain how it goes, and after a few tries we'll get it going. It ended up taking about 45 minutes to get the group started. I had to repeat my skill bar 5 or 6 times and run through the whole thing each time. 1 time, after advertising 'Saccer Needed for 7/8 EoE bomb! whisper me for details,' I told the guy the build and he said he'd reroll and join up real quick.
He never came back. We were waiting for about 10 minutes for him and then we had to get another saccer, who also needed to reroll after I explained the build.
So finally, we have everyone there, all ready to go. I tell the group 'Please don't leave if we die a few times, it takes a couple times to master.' I hit enter mission and I'm greeted by a surprise. I tell everyone to take off their armor and use IoW, then put armor back on after the regen for extra health.' 5/6 saccers comply. I ask the last guy if he was going to do it and he says: "I don't have Illusion of Weakness." (actually he said "i dun have iow ;P").
But, luckily, we get past the ghosts and into the PVP. I told the R/Mo to call when he is using EoE and MoP (2 essentials for the build). He calls out EoE but he doesn't call the MoP so we don't know when to sac. He ended up dieing, and we lost. "No biggie," I said. "We'll get it next time." When I finish loading, it's only 7/8. After I had said repeatedly not to leave, someone did anyway.
Another member of the group said "I'll go to dist 1 to grab another one real quick." Unfortunately, the other members figured (I don't know why, because he said that in team chat), that the group was giving up and everyone could leave. It got down to 2/8 pretty fast. I told the last remaining guy to whisper me if he ever wants to run it for real, and he agreed, so at least I got something out of this.
God, I need a good guild.
Edit: And please don't redirect this to the thread "worst thing that happened to you in PVP." This is a thread about your experiences with idiotic people that made you mad and gave you reason to vent here.

If people are as upset as you are, I think they would start a new thread about it rather than posting in an existing one. Yes, like you.
