Ascending a Healer

Hey everyone,
I just started a monk a few days ago and I am trying to ascend. I am a M/ME. If anyone has any tips on the skills I should use I would appreciate the help.

Empathy and breeze should be all that's necessary.

Backfire in the first spot, healing breeze in the last spot. In the middle add a few quick and cheap mesmer skills that don't affect you (like things that add blind, crippling, or weakness, etc). Cast backfire as soon as you get in, then healing breeze. The dopple never uses healing breeze, and when he's got backfire on him he keeps casting the cheap mesmer spells.

All I did to Ascend my Monk was use Divine Boon on myself, then stood beside my double and spammed Zealot's Fire for a few seconds and it was all over.

Didn't equip anything else.. just those two spells.

Mo/Me, get lots of point into illusion and let him use illusion of weakness, before it runs out he should be dead with empathy. heal yourself with breeze.

The dopple DOES use healing breeze now, unfortunately, but it's still easy to overcome. Main thing you want to do is make him run out of energy. I had a Mo/W at the time, but my strategy was still simple, I only bought Sever Artery, Gash, and Healing Breeze. Was just a matter of who managed their energy better. After 2 minutes the dopple couldn't cast breeze anymore and just slowly bled to death...........

Easiest way to ascend a mo/me - put as many points into domination as you can. the only 2 skills u need are empathy and distortion.

how to use: cast distortion on entering. then cast empathy on dopple. use the "q" and "e" buttons to strafe right and left. recast as needed. youll kill him in about 45 seconds by runnign back and forth i usually get it in the first or second try

its the easiest way to ascend any me/x or x/me char imo

the regular way to ascend a monk to me was go smiting. cast holy wrath retribution and mending then let ur enregy charge. cast a sig of judge, bane sig, banish and all this stuff as he is cating his spells. dopple will then then cast his spells and after that start atking u. he will take all the dmg he made to u and ur skills will then recharge. cast ur spells agian and he should die.

Retribution and healing breeze has always worked for me, including last weekend. I didn't see him use healing breeze. Lasted 15-20 seconds.

I have had him use Holy Wrath before though so do not equip it now.

I was elem/mo and so equipped a bunch of spells for him to waste time on, like fire attunement, etc.
