So i just got my char to the desert last nite, been doing all missions and not getting run and am now lvl 19. But i still have the crappy post searing leather ascalon armour on and as i am saving up for my drok's druid's set (nearly there gold wise) i don't want to buy any stuff elsewhere.
So i found out about the collectors stuff in the jungle and managed to get vest boots and gloves but still need leggings, i looked up where the other collector dude was (meghan the bright) and see she's in the falls near the statue of balthazar.

So what am asking is does anyone know an easy way to get there coz it looks like a real trek! and wheres the best place to get jungle troll tusks quickly? Or should i forget it and stick with the armour thats served me well thus far?

Easiest place? Outside the "falls" which I'm assuming you mean Quarrel Falls, jungle trolls are out the door and up the path to the left. Just keep rezoning into the falls and back out to keep killin them. I suggest with only 1 so your droprate isn't impeded <for the tusks>

I say get collectors, as some times it can be cheaper then droks <most all the time> and be just about as good AC wise or graphic wise. Don't give up, just kep smacking down trolls in the jungle for tusks. They appear everywhere, just not Quarrel, mind you. The most concentration I've ran into was in the "Wilds" mission. Try there if it isn't working out by the falls.

There's no easy way really, just start from Ventari's Refuge and head southwest through Reed Bog. While you're there, enjoy the scenery, since The Falls is yet another area without any "real" purpose. But if you're already on the desert, I might suggest you'd get the desert collector armor instead, because it offers the same armor level as the Droknar ones.

And you can get jungle troll tusks by... well, just killing those trolls enough, I guess. Go with human players, so you can trade the drops, instead of henchies.

If you are in the desert, I suggest getting desert armor before doing the ascension missions. You'll need Minotaur Horns, Bleached Carapaces, Losaru Manes, Forgotten Seals, um, can't think of the rest. I believe there is a site with all the collectors and their locations, but I cannot remember what it is right now. (Can someone post it if they have it?)

There are collectors in Destiny's Gorge, Amnoon, outside Augury, outside Dunes of Despair, outside Thirsty River, one up top of the alleyway between Amnoon and Augury.

Desert collectors armor is AS GOOD AS Droknar's Forge armor, ie max. (Just not the variety and different stats available at Drok's.)

You may want to finish your collection with these pieces of armour, they have a higher AL and some will be easier to find, especially as you are doing the desert missions anyway; collect the items as you go.
