Looks like it's hydra hunting season so here's my addition

Note: this is not "tuned" especially for farming, it's using my Inspired Resistance tank build - http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=88733

Just swapped out res sig for dolyak signet, and of course Elemental Resistance instead of Physical. No need to keep changing stats and skills if you need to go off on some PvE missions (just one/two changes and that's it)

Seeing it in action -

Can handle fairly large numbers, since the elemental damage is reduced quite a lot and you have a lot of armour going. My timing is a bit off in the vid, but that just shows the build leaves you room to breathe. The more hydras, the more you need to concentrate but otherwise you'll always have a fair amount of protection. Ether feast for health gain, I've taken on 10-12+ with proper timing.

You could tweak it to make it more farming specific (and thus faster) For example I hardly used Distracting Blow (usually used in PvE to disrupt healing bosses etc) so that could be replaced with Final Thrust or something else. As is, it took about 3 mins to down a group of 7-8.

not bad, but i think you should have mantra of fire just in case

Just tried with Mantra of Flame and it isn't so effective with that, stick with Elemental Resistance (about 10 dmg difference at same inspiration)

Also replace Distracting Blow with Final Thrust and it works quite well. The meteors etc do quite low damage with all 4 defences up at once and you can kill reasonably quick.

good job on the build ....looks better live than on video (lucky meeting him while about to do a hydra run myself)
