Heya Guys,
This is my first post here. As I was looking at a topic about dying your armor uniquely, i saw labsenpai's 'miss healbot' monk, who's colors I really like. I'd like to get the same effect on my necromancer, though it just wont work...
Here is the link to the monk (scroll down):

And here is my question: Do I need to dye the basecolor of my Necro to whatever the maincolor of the monks is, instead of the normal red, and thén dye it purple, orange, yellow + silver?
Dying Question..

no dont dye it red then blue than whatever else...you need to mix the dyes together by double clicking a dye then clicking on another dye...then take your "mixed dye" and put it on your armor

With the colors I mean the dyed clothes, not the scars (the scars, except head scar come out perfectly) which I cant seem to get right, as they become green... So I was thinking that it was because of the basecolors, as i had first made a mix that turned out as an orange color, then used dye remover and applied the colors one by one, but that turned out to be a different color...

When you apply a dye or remover to your armour of any type it will overlay what was there before, not mix with it. The only two things that matter when dyeing is:
1. The original color of the armour or weapon.
2. What you mix before you apply (and you can mix up to 4 dyes together total including a dye remover to the mix which will affect the overall color).
Adding dye remover to your armour first won't affect anything. Adding the dyes to your armour individually in any order won't make a difference other than you will have the last color plus the armour affect on the dye.
All armours of different types and classes affect the color outcome somewhat. So lets say you mix orange+silver+yellow+yellow it will look different on each type of armour and also different on another class' armour type.
What would be nice is to be able to go to an NPC and color your armour. You could play around with the color look you wanted and then the NPC would require you to submit certain dyes to achieve that. Similar to what a crafter wants for certain weapons or armours when you make them.
